No. 1 rate TV talk show host… According to Essence Magazine, “… a woman whose very name has become synonymous with power… She is the founder and editorial director of a… magazine… And she is an Oscar-nominated actress, the winner of numerous Emmy Awards, producer of made-for-television films, a philanthropist, a book lover and a businesswoman whose personal net worth now exceeds a billion dollars, making her the richest Black woman on the planet.”

3) Moby, recording artist and former top club DJ
All 18 songs from his 1999 album Play was licensed for use in commercials, films, and television shows by companies including American Express and Nissan. Inc Magazine: “In the end, it’s estimated that the songs were licensed a staggering 800 times. And a rockstar businessman was born.” Moby’s latest venture is bottling and owning/operating Teany teas and cafe.

Something that makes me happy is having two desks and working areas. One is more for business, although I do tons of creative work there too. The other is strictly for creative and contemplative expression.

I wanted to share with you what I keep on my “creative desk.” It’s a quote from a Yogi Tea bag that reads:

“Empty yourself and let the universe fill you.”

Every time I read it, it delights and brings me to smile. The imagery and thought of letting go of our “stuff” to surrender and let the universe fill us is heavenly.
