Began Japanese singing lessons at age 5, and entering singing contests. Won the KZOO Radio Karaoke Taikai singing a Misora Hibari (Enka, meaning Japanese classical) song at age 9. Also began classical voice training, and singing professionally at age 9. Won other talent competitions including the State Brown Bags to Stardom, and Amateur Night at the Apollo in Harlem, New York with a standing ovation. Female Vocalist of the Year Hoku Award nominee for self-produced album “Feel the Breeze”. Performances in the U.S., Japan, and Europe. Sang the National Anthem at the World Cup broadcast live on ESPN worldwide. As a songwriter, wrote and licensed songs for television in the U.S.
